Image Banners
Image Banners let you display one or more images in your checkout, thank-you page, or order status page. Add a single image for a static banner, or up to 5 images to activate carousel mode.
You can create multiple banner configs per page, each with its own images and conditions. When multiple configs exist, the first one whose conditions match is shown. Use this to show different banners for different countries, markets, or customer types.

How to set up
Section titled “How to set up”- Go to Image Banner in the app and select the page type (Checkout, Thank You Page, or Order Status Page).
- Click Create to add a new banner config.
- Give it an internal name.
- Add one or more image URLs (up to 5). Adding a second image automatically enables carousel mode.
- If using carousel, configure arrows and auto-slide.
- Add an optional caption and/or CTA button with a link.
- Add Conditions if needed.
- Click Save.
- In Shopify, add the Image Banner extension block via the Checkout Editor on the relevant page.
- Works on checkout, thank-you page, and order status page, each with separate configs.
- Multiple configs per page type supported; the first condition match wins.
- 1 image = static banner. 2–5 images = carousel mode.
- Carousel options (arrows, auto-slide) are disabled when only one image is added.
- Images are entered as URLs. Self-hosted or CDN links are required (no direct file upload).
- Conditions support AND / OR logic.
Use cases
Section titled “Use cases”| Scenario | Conditions to set |
|---|---|
| Show a seasonal sale banner only during a promotion | Use schedule (Start date / End date) |
| Show a localised banner for a specific market | Market equals target market handle |
| Show a different banner for high-value carts | Cart total is greater than $500 |
| Show a brand awareness carousel for first-time buyers | Customer order count equals 0 |
Best practices
Section titled “Best practices”- Use images sized for checkout. Wide landscape images (at least 800px wide, 16:9 ratio) look best.
- For carousel mode, keep all images the same dimensions as mixed sizes look inconsistent.
- Add a CTA button with a link to your sale page, collection, or blog post to make the banner interactive.
- Use the schedule feature for time-limited promotions. Set an end date so the banner disappears automatically.
- Create one config with no conditions as a fallback to always show something.
