Create an automatic reorder discount when a customer reorders through the Buy Again – Reorder extension or via the reorder link in reorder reminders. Customers don’t need to apply manually; the discount is applied automatically at the cart.

  • Percentage: e.g. enter 10 for 10% off

Discount value: the number for your chosen type.

Discount code: enter the discount code you want for reorder. This app automatically creates or updates this code in your Shopify admin when you save.

Discount text: the message shown to customers about the reorder discount. Use {amount} as a placeholder for the discount value. Example: Save {amount} when you reorder today!

Buy Again heading: the main title shown above the reorder popup or page. Default is Buy Again. Customize to match your brand, e.g. Your Favorites or Reorder & Save.

Subheading text: optional line shown below the main heading. Example: You've ordered this before. Leave blank to hide.

You can hide products that you don’t want to appear in the Buy Again - Reorder extension, for example, one-time items, digital goods, gift cards, or shipping fees. You can hide products in 4 ways:

Exclude specific products: Select single or multiple products to exclude.

Exclude by tag: Select one or more product tags. Any product with that tag is excluded.

Exclude by vendor: Select one or more vendors. All products from that vendor are excluded.

Exclude by type: Select one or more product types. All products of that type are excluded.

  1. Choose any 1 of the exclusion method: specific products, tag, vendor, or type
  2. Make your selections using the respective picker or multi-select
  3. Remove any selection by clicking the X on its tag
  4. Click Save

Show strikethrough price: If it is enabled, then the original Compare At price with a strikethrough will be displayed, next to the current price in the buy again - reorder extension or page.

Set this to Yes only if your products have a Compare At price set in Shopify. If no Compare At price exists, then strikethrough will not be displayed.

Line item properties carry custom details a customer added to a product (e.g. engraving or a gift note) into the reorder.

  • Show checkbox: show or hide the line item properties checkbox in the reorder popup.
  • Checkbox label: text shown next to the checkbox. Leave blank for the default “Add line item properties”.
  • Checked by default: if Yes, the checkbox is pre-checked when the popup opens.
  • Excluded property keys: comma-separated keys to hide from customers (e.g. _customizer, _source). Properties with these keys are removed before adding to cart.

If your products have subscription selling plans, customers can add them while reordering.

  • Show subscription checkbox: show or hide the subscription checkbox.
  • Checkbox label: text next to the checkbox. Leave blank for the default “Add subscription plans”.

Let customers add a note to their reorder.

  • Show order notes field: show or hide the note field.
  • Order notes label: the label above the field. Leave blank for the default “Order Notes (Optional)”.

The reorder popup includes a section where customers can pick a date to be reminded to reorder. Its heading is set via the Reorder Reminder section heading field under Heading Text.

The Bought Earlier Badge is a small badge that appears on product images on collection page and product page to remind customers they’ve purchased that item before.

Show badge: toggle on or off.

Badge position: choose where the badge sits on the product image:

  • Image top right corner
  • Image top left corner
  • Image bottom right corner
  • Image bottom left corner

Badge color: background color of the badge (hex color picker).

Badge text color: text color on the badge.

Badge text: the label shown (max 20 characters). Default: Bought Earlier. You can change this to Purchased, Your Pick, etc.

Click Save via the top save bar. All changes apply immediately across every active extension.
