Dashboard

The Dashboard is the first screen you see when you open the app. It has four main parts: the Setup Checklist, the Analytics Overview, three Quick Action cards, and a Blog/Resource card.

Setup Checklist

The setup checklist walks you through the four steps to get the app fully working. Each step has a status indicator showing whether it is complete.

Step 1 — Choose a Plan

Select a paid plan to unlock the app’s features. A link to the Plans page is shown here if you are on the free plan.

Step 2 — Enable App Embed

The app embed needs to be turned on in your Shopify theme for the Bought By You slider and other theme-based features to work. Click Open Theme Editor to go directly to the embed settings. Once enabled, click the refresh icon to update the checklist status.

Step 3 — Configure App Settings

Go to Settings and save your widget configuration at least once — heading text, badge colors, discount, excluded products. Click Open Settings to go there directly.

Step 4 — Add to Store

This step expands to show every available extension placement with a preview image and a direct link to enable each one:

Each placement card has a View Instructions button that opens a step-by-step modal with a GIF preview.

Note

All four steps need to be completed for the checklist to show as done. You can collapse the checklist once setup is complete.

Analytics Overview

Below the checklist, four stat cards show today’s performance:

Card	What it shows
Today’s Revenue	Buy Again revenue generated today
Today’s Orders	Number of Buy Again orders placed today
Email Reminders Sent	Total reminder emails sent (all time)
Email Reminders Revenue	Revenue attributed to reminder emails

Two buttons below the cards link to:

• View Detailed Analytics → — goes to the full Analytics page
• View Customer Analytics → — goes to the Customers page

Quick Action Cards

Three cards below the analytics section give fast access to key areas:

Card	Where it goes
App Settings	Settings — configure widget appearance, discounts, excluded products
App Integrations	Integrations — ratings/reviews source and display settings
Email Integrations	Reorder Reminders — ESP connections and reminder setup

Blog Card

At the bottom of the dashboard, a resource card links to a relevant blog post from Smiley Commerce — covering topics like reorder reminder strategies and repeat purchase tactics. This changes based on your current plan.
