Does Buy Again & Reorder Reminders work with Shopify new customer accounts?
Yes. Buy Again & Reorder Reminders is built natively for Shopify's new customer accounts. The reorder popup appears on the order history page, the Buy Again page is added to the account navigation, and all features — including line item properties, reorder discounts, and reminders — work within the new customer account experience.
Can customers edit quantities and select specific products when reordering?
Yes. The reorder popup lets customers select which products to add from a past order — they do not have to reorder everything. They can also adjust quantities for each product before anything goes to cart. This is especially useful for B2B buyers and customers who reorder in different amounts each time.
Does Buy Again carry over line item properties when customers reorder?
Yes, line item properties from the original order such as engravings, personalisation details, PO numbers, or custom options are pre-filled in the reorder popup. Customers can review them before adding to cart, so details are never lost on reorder. Available on the Growth plan and above.
Can I exclude specific products from the Buy Again feature?
Yes. You can exclude specific products from appearing in the reorder popup and the Buy Again page directly from the app settings. This is useful for one-time products, digital items, or anything you do not want customers to reorder through the app.
Can I offer a discount when customers reorder?
Yes. You can set a reorder discount that automatically applies when a customer uses the Buy Again popup or Buy Again page. The discount can be shown to the customer before they add to cart, giving them an incentive to reorder directly through their account rather than searching the store again.
How do reorder reminders work?
Reorder reminders are automated emails sent to customers before they run out of a product. There are three types: customer-defined (customers set their own schedule), usage-based (you set how long a product lasts and reminders go out automatically), and AI-based (the app analyses each customer's purchase history and predicts the right send time). Reminders are sent through Klaviyo, Omnisend, Mailchimp, or Brevo and include a direct link back to reorder.
What is the difference between Starter and Growth plans?
The Starter plan covers all core reorder features: reorder popup, Buy Again page, buy again badge, reorder discount, and analytics. The Growth plan adds reorder reminders (customer-defined and usage-based), line item property support, Klaviyo/Mailchimp/Omnisend/Brevo integration, Shopify Plus checkout and POS support, and subscription reorders.
